SAN DIEGO – A fugitive wanted by the San Diego Police Department (SDPD) for the murder of his wife over the weekend was taken into custody Friday morning at the San Ysidro port of entry, after Mexican law enforcement authorities turned him over to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers.

At about 1 a.m., CBP officers confirmed the identity of Jeremy Adam Green, a 40-year-old U.S. citizen and resident of San Diego, through the Integrated Automated Fingerprint System (IAFIS), and confirmed the active felony warrant.

CBP officers turned Green over to detectives with the SDPD who were on-site at the port of entry.
