El Centro Sector Border Patrol Arrest Its 20th Sex Offender

CALEXICO, Calif. – Calexico Border Patrol agents arrested a man, a previously deported sex offender, after making an illegal entry into the United States on May 16, 2018.

Eliseo Orozco-Mansilla, a 38-year-old Mexican National, was arrested and convicted for Child Molestation out of Grant County, Washington. Orozco was previously removed from the United States on March 2002.

Orozco is being held in federal custody pending prosecution for Re-entry After Removal.   

“Twenty sex offenders in just over six months, shows the impact that our agents make in our communities. That is 20 individuals that residents of California do not have to worry about because U.S. Border Patrol continues to keep our nation safe,” said El Centro Sector Assistant Chief Patrol Agent David S. Kim.

In fiscal year 2018, El Centro Sector has arrested 20 sex offenders.
