SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Friday night, the San Antonio Police Department arrested an off-duty border patrol agent for assaulting a woman. Border patrol agents restrained the subject and notified the SAPD. The woman was taken to the hospital for evaluation. The agent is assigned to the Alamogordo Station in El Paso Sector.
CBP Internal Affairs is coordinating with SAPD concerning the investigation and along with Department of Homeland Security Office of the Inspector General will conduct an internal investigation into the incident.
