DEL RIO, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to Del Rio Sector Headquarters encountered a rollover accident near Normandy, March 31.
While en route to Eagle Pass, agents, first on scene, encountered a vehicle that had recently rolled over. Agents immediately began administering first aid on two passengers, until the arrival of Emergency Medical Services. Patient care was then turned over to EMS, and both individuals were transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
“Our agents are trained and able to respond to any situation at a moment’s notice,” said Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Austin L. Skero II. “I am extremely proud of these agents for taking immediate action to save lives.”
