BLAINE, WASH.—The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations. For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.

01/10/2012 - Remote video surveillance system operators observed two people illegally cross into the United States from Canada east of Lynden, WA. Nearby U.S. Border Patrol agents responded to the area and arrested the two individuals, both citizens of India. The subjects were processed for removal.

01/10/2012 - Agents took custody of a citizen of Guatemala who was scheduled to be released from the Whatcom County Detention Center in Bellingham, WA. U.S. Border Patrol agents had previously placed a detainer on the subject, who had been determined to be illegally present in the United States. The subject was processed for removal.

01/13/2012 - Agents responded to a request for assistance from the Blaine Police Department during a traffic stop in Blaine, WA. The driver of the vehicle, a Canadian citizen, possessed an expired Canadian passport and admitted to living in the United States continuously since 2008. The individual was placed under arrest and processed for removal from the United States.

01/16/2012 - Agents apprehended a citizen of Ireland who had just entered the United States illegally by crossing the United States - Canada border west of Sumas, WA. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.
