Calexico, Calif. - Wednesday afternoon, U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Calexico station seized marijuana with an estimated street value of $82,000.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:55 p.m., when Border Patrol agents discovered two large bundles buried in the brush of the All American Canal approximately 12 miles east of Calexico. The bundles contained a total of eight individually wrapped packages weighing 103.6 pounds with an estimated street value of $82,000.
The narcotics were seized and turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
