BUFFALO, N.Y. – U.S. Customs and Border Protection is at the Erie County Fair recruiting new officers and agents for CBP’s Office of Field Operations, CBP Air and Marine Operations, and the U.S. Border Patrol. CBP recruiters are at the New York State Police building every day, from August 11 through the fair’s last day on August 21.
“The Erie County Fair is a great place to explain career opportunities to the public,” said Director of Field Operations Rose Hilmey. “CBP is America’s largest law enforcement agency, with thousands of officers and agents guarding our borders. We are in constant need of high-quality applicants to join our ranks.”
CBP’s Office of Field Operations guards America’s official ports of entry. The U.S. Border Patrol secures America’s borders between the official ports of entry. CBP Air and Marine Operations guards the U.S. border on the water and in the air. All CBP components work together to ensure America is the safest place in the world to visit, live and work.
The CBP recruiting booth is located in the New York State Police building at the fair. More information on CBP careers is also available at www.cbp.gov/careers.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is the unified border agency within the Department of Homeland Security charged with the management, control and protection of our nation's borders at and between the official ports of entry.
