YUMA, Ariz. -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection is looking for candidates to fill positions as Border Patrol agents and CBP officers.
Individuals interested in becoming part of “America’s first line of defense” are encouraged to visit with recruiters Saturday, Jan. 30, between noon and 4 p.m., in the village area between Harkins Theatre and the roundabout in Yuma Palms Regional Center.
Qualified candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 37 (waivers possible for veterans) and in excellent physical condition.
Yuma Sector’s canine team will also conduct demonstrations; and the Border Patrol Search, Trauma and Rescue (BORSTAR) will display and illustrate important equipment used to save lives.
