WARWICK, R.I.- On July 1, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials in Warwick, Rhode Island will open a Global Entry Enrollment Center at the CBP office located at 300 Jefferson Blvd, Suite 106, Warwick, R.I., 02886.
The Warwick Global Entry Enrollment Center is in a centralized location with easy access to major highways, Interstate 295 and Interstate 95, and offers free parking. Operating hours will be 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday.
Applicants must first make an appointment using the CBP Global Online Enrollment System (GOES) on the CBP website before reporting to the center.
“Prior to the establishment of the Warwick center, the Global Entry Enrollment Center at Boston Logan Airport was the nearest available location to Rhode Island and Western Massachusetts,” said Providence Area Port Director Rebekah S. Bacon. “This location will make it convenient for local community members in the Providence Metropolitan area to sign up for Global Entry, which will help expedite their future international travels.”
Frequent travelers are encouraged to participate in the Global Entry program, which allows pre-screened, low-risk travelers to proceed with little or no delay into the United States. Members are also eligible to expedite their domestic travels by using TSA’s pre-check trusted traveler security screening lines.
Global Entry provides more than one million members expedited processing at nearly 300 kiosks located at 34 U.S. airports and 10 preclearance locations in Canada and Ireland.
