Port Huron, MI. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Marine City Ferry Crossing assisted a Marine City resident who had been missing for two days, since Saturday, June 23.

On Monday morning, June 25, a woman entered the Marine City office and was unaware of her name and whereabouts. CBP officers gave the woman food and water and contacted the Marine City Police Department.

Marine City Police were dispatched and worked with CBP to identify the woman and locate her address. CBP officers later discovered that she had been reported missing for two days and had not taken her prescribed medication.

"The dedication of our officers in helping this woman shows that, with vigilance and service, we are a valuable asset and available to assist in our local community," said David Dusellier, CBP Port Huron Port Director.

Emergency Medical Services arrived at the port of entry and transported the woman to a local hospital for treatment.
