CBP Officers Arrest Man Wanted on Larceny Charges

Niagara Falls, N.Y. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Field Operations announced the arrest of a United States citizen wanted in the state of Louisiana on larceny charges.

On Tuesday, CBP Officers encountered William Eash, a 62-year-old United States citizen from Virginia Beach, V.A., at the Rainbow Bridge border crossing. A primary name query of Mr. Eash revealed that he was wanted in the state of Louisiana with full extradition. Mr. Eash was referred for a secondary exam to verify his identity and the validity of the warrant.

During the secondary exam, CBP Officers verified the validity of the warrant and confirmed the full extradition. The warrant was issued out of St. Bernard Parish, L.A. Mr. Eash was arrested by CBP and turned over to the custody of the Niagara Falls Police Department pending extradition to Louisiana.
