TUCSON, Ariz. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection is expanding the hours of operation of their newest Enrollment Center at the Tucson International Airport.
Beginning Saturday, July 12th, the center will be open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. for processing Trusted Traveler Program applications, which includes Global Entry, SENTRI, NEXUS and FAST. The Trusted Traveler Programs provide expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk international travelers. The expanded Saturday hours at the Tucson location will run through the end of September.
"The Global Enrollment Center here continues to provide a convenient, easy-access, local center for people to complete the trusted traveler application process,” said Tucson Director of Field Operations William K. Brooks. “This will allow us to further increase the number of appointments we can schedule, providing quicker service.”
Global Enrollment Centers are also open in Douglas, Nogales, Phoenix and San Luis.
Members of trusted traveler programs can expect expedited processing when entering the United States through dedicated vehicle lanes at land borders or by using automated kiosks at airports. Many trusted travelers are also eligible for the TSA Pre-Check Program, which provides expedited processing through TSA checkpoints.
Travelers interested in enrolling in one of CBP’s Trusted Traveler Programs can learn more about the programs and apply by visiting the Trusted Traveler webpage.
