Bridge Repair Complete on Canadian Highway 39, South of Estevan, Saskatchewan

Portal, N.D. - Bridge repair on Canadian Highway 39 south of Estevan, Saskatchewan has been completed and the road has been reopened to all traffic from Estevan to the border at Portal, North Dakota.

Commercial and vehicle traffic can utilize the 24-hour port at Portal, North Dakota. Commercial traffic will no longer be allowed to enter at the Northgate, North Dakota port of entry without a valid commercial permit on file starting August 6.

Travelers should continue to monitor state and provincial road condition websites for the safest route to U.S. ports of entry.
