YUMA, Ariz. – An illegal alien with an extraditable warrant out of Las Vegas was arrested after illegally re-entering the U.S. from Mexico yesterday.
Border Patrol agents apprehended six illegal aliens with assistance from Air and Marine Operations. The group crossed into the U.S. through the Cabeza Prieta Wildlife Refuge, near Yuma Sector’s forward operating base, Camp Grip, on March 1.
Two from the group required medical treatment at Yuma Regional Medical Center for blisters on their feet. A third, 23-year-old Juan Carlos Garcia-Gonzalez, had an extraditable warrant out of Las Vegas, Nevada for dangerous drugs and was turned over to the Wellton Police Department.
All subjects were processed per Yuma Sector guidelines.
