Border Patrol Agents Arrest 8, Identify 1 Sex Offender
TUCSON, Ariz. – Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents arrested eight illegal aliens Monday, northeast of Douglas, Arizona, and later learned one man in the group was previously convicted in California for engaging in sex with a minor.
Agents transported the group to the Douglas Station for processing and later identified a 22-year-old Mexican national as Martin Guzman-Garcia; who was arrested and convicted in Yuba County, California, last year for engaging in sex with an individual under age 18.
Guzman now faces felony immigration charges for re-entering the United States following deportation.
