Border Patrol Agents Apprehend 76 at Edinburg Stash House

EDINDURG, Texas — U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Rio Grande Valley Sector apprehended 76 undocumented immigrants at a stash house Monday night.

Close coordination with the Hidalgo County Constables Office and information obtained from interviews led agents to a residence in Edinburg where 76 people were found hiding inside, 17 of whom are from Guatemala, 18 from Mexico, 22 from Honduras, 17 from El Salvador and two from Ecuador. The immigrants were reported to be in good health and were transported to the Weslaco Station for processing. The case remains under investigation.
