CBP Border Enforcement Statistics
The Border Enforcement Statistics page provides data on apprehensions, admissibility, recidivism, and arrests of criminal aliens at the border. Information on this page will be expanded to include seizures of drugs, currency, and prohibited agriculture products in the coming months.
Southwest Land Border Encounters
The Southwest Land Border Encounters page provides data on U.S. Border Patrol apprehensions and the Office of Field Operations inadmissible subjects encountered along the southwest land border of the United States.
Nationwide Encounters
The Nationwide Encounters page provides U.S. Border Patrol Title 8 Apprehensions, Office of Field Operations Title 8 Inadmissibles, and Title 42 Expulsions for fiscal years (FY) 2020 and 2021 to date. Data is available for the Northern Land Border, Southwest Land Border, and Nationwide (i.e., air, land, and sea modes of transportation) encounters.
Custody and Transfer Statistics
Custody and Transfer Metrics include data on in-custody information by location, dispositions for inadmissible/apprehended populations and transfer destinations for populations leaving CBP custody.
Migrant Protection Protocols
The Migrant Protection Protocol page includes data displaying enrollment in the program, referrals to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and data from the Executive Office of Immigration Review related to the outcomes of MPP cases.
CBP Trade Statistics
These stats summarize CBP's revenue collection efforts; implementation of the recent trade remedies taken pursuant to Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 and Sections 201 and 301 of the Trade Act of 1974; and trade enforcement actions.
CBP Travel Statistics
The Office of Field Operations (OFO) is the law enforcement component within CBP responsible for carrying out CBP's complex and demanding border security mission at all ports of entry (POE), including managing the lawful access of people to the United States by securing and expediting international travel. The statistics posted here represent the conveyances and travelers arriving to the United States via aircraft, on foot (pedestrians), passenger vehicles, and trucks.
Accountability and Transparency Statistics
The Accountability and Transparency page provides the public with statements, policies, reports, and other important information concerning critical incidents and related Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) reviews and investigations. These statistics provide data on assaults on agents and officers and uses of force by CBP personnel, as well as arrests of CBP employees. OPR reports are also located here (Annual Report, Discipline Review, etc.)
CBP Trade and Travel Report Fiscal Year 2020
Despite decreases in global trade and travel and other challenges wrought by the COVID-19 pandemic, CBP introduced innovative measures in Fiscal Year 2020 that facilitated essential trade and travel while safeguarding the American people and our economy. CBP processed nearly 238 million travelers at ports of entry while taking measures to strengthen security, enhance efficiency, and restore consumer confidence in commercial travel. In addition, CBP processed more than $2.4 trillion of imports, protected American consumers from millions of counterfeit PPE and pharmaceuticals, implemented the groundbreaking U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement, and introduced other initiatives to enhance America’s economic competitiveness.
