What are Biological Resource Plans (BRPs)?

As part of its environmental stewardship effort, CBP has developed Biological Resource Plans (BRPs) that are closely coordinated with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). These BRPs identify federally listed threatened and endangered species that may be affected by the projects and include Best Management Practices (BMPs) to avoid or minimize adverse effects to these species. The BRPs were incorporated into the ESPs and posted to the Border Fence Planning Web site. ( TI Environmental Stewardship )
