Document Posting Date:

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announces that a final Supplemental Environmental Assessment (SEA) and associated final Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) addressing the proposed expansion of the Swanton Border Patrol Station and transfer of the Swanton Sector Headquarters to the Swanton Border Patrol Station are now available for public review. The Final SEA documents a review of the potential environmental and socioeconomic effects associated with the proposed action.

Based on the final SEA and the mitigation measures to be implemented, the project would not have a significant adverse effect on the environment and further analysis is not required. Therefore, a FONSI was issued and an Environmental Impact Statement is not required.
