Document Posting Date:
April 18, 2014

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announces that a Final Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Proposed Demolition of CBP–Owned Housing at Falcon Village, Starr County, Texas and associated Finding Of No Significant Impact (FONSI) have been prepared and are now available for public review.

The EA documents a review of the potential environmental and socioeconomic effects associated with the demolition of eight housing units and related infrastructure at Falcon Village, Texas. Based on the Final EA, a determination was made that the proposed action will not significantly affect the human environment and that further analysis is not required. Therefore, a FONSI was issued, and an Environmental Impact Statement is not required.
