Draft Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for the Replacement of the Pier and Boat Ramp at the U.S. Border Patrol & Air and Marine Facility, Ponce, Puerto Rico

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announces the availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the Replacement of the Pier and Boat Ramp at the U.S. Border Patrol & Air and Marine Facility, Ponce, Puerto Rico.  CBP has prepared a Draft EA and FONSI to identify and assess the potential environmental and socioeconomic impacts associated with the proposed construction, operation, and maintenance activities.  CBP invites comments on the Draft EA and FONSI during the 30-day comment period beginning on October 31, 2018.  Comments may be submitted using one of the following methods:

  1. By email to joseph.zidron@cbp.dhs.gov.  Subject line should read “CBP Ponce Pier and Boat Ramp EA”
  2. By mail to Joe Zidron, Real Estate and Environmental Branch Chief, Border Patrol & Air and Marine Program Management Office, 24000 Avila Road, Suite 5020, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677.

To ensure consideration, comments must be received by November 30, 2018.
