Draft Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for the Proposed Construction, Operation, and Maintenance of a New U.S. Border Patrol Brown Field Border Patrol Station, Dulzura, CA

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announces the availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the proposed construction, operation, and maintenance of a new U.S. Border Patrol Brown Field Border Patrol Station in Dulzura, San Diego County, California. CBP has prepared a Draft EA and FONSI to identify and assess  the potential environmental and socioeconomic impacts associated with the proposed construction, operation, and maintenance activities. CBP invites comments on the Draft EA and FONSI during the 30-day comment period beginning on October 4, 2018.  Comments may be submitted using one of the following methods:

  1. By email to commentsenv@cbp.dhs.gov  
  2. By mail to Brown Field Station EA c/o Mr. John Petrilla, Border Patrol and Air and Marine Program Management Office, 24000 Avila Road, Suite 5020, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

To ensure consideration, comments must be received by November 5, 2018.
