Paying CBP

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) supports all electronic payment methods authorized by the Department of Treasury’s Fiscal Service.  The type of collection controls the electronic payment method that can be used, so please use the list below as your guide for choosing a payment method.

Pay.gov/ACH Debit

  • Import duties, taxes and fees if company or broker has a Payer Unit Number

User access may be required in order to utilize the designated payment method as listed above.  Please contact the specific program area for additional details.

In addition, credit cards, authorized for use by the Department of Treasury Fiscal Service, may be used for the payment of non-commercial entry duties, taxes, fees and/or other charges at designated CBP border/land locations.
