How Do I Report?

Arrivals may be made at the locations below. Call the phone number below in advance of your arrival to receive specific reporting instructions. If you arrive after hours or there is no answer please call (503) 326-3230 and ask to speak to the Duty Supervisor.

What Information Do I Need When I Call?

Vessel masters must have the following information available:

  • Name, date of birth, and citizenship of all persons on board (including passport number);
  • Name of the boat and your boat registration number;
  • CBP User Fee Decal number (if 30 feet or longer);
  • Homeport, current location; and
  • Return contact number.

When entering the Columbia River you must go to the West End Mooring Basin to clear with Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The West End Basin is located just before you go under the Astoria Megler Bridge and it is best if you go to the fuel dock just inside the basin. You must call and report your arrival immediately. All passengers and crew are required to stay on your vessel until cleared by CBP. The Master may get off the vessel to use the phone to report the arrival, then must return to the vessel. If it is after hours or there is no answer please call (503)326-3230 and ask to speak to the Duty Supervisor. For your convenience, it is best to call and make arrangements prior to your arrival. Designated Marina: South Beach Marina - J Dock

When entering Yaquina Bay you must go to the South Beach Marina - J Dock to clear with Customs and Border Protection (CBP). The South Beach Marina is located just after you go under the Newport Yaquina Bridge on the south side of the bay. J Dock is the first pier within the marina. You must call and report your arrival immediately. All passengers and crew are required to stay on your vessel until cleared by CBP. The Master may get off the vessel to use the phone to report the arrival, then must return to the vessel. If it is after hours or there is no answer please call (503) 326-3230 and ask to speak to the Duty Supervisor. For your convenience, it is best to call and make arrangements prior to your arrival. Designated Marina: Charleston Marina - Transient Dock

When entering Coos Bay you must go to the Charleston Marina - Transient Dock to clear with Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Charleston Marina is located in the town of Charleston to the south just after entering the bay. The transient dock is the first pier located beside the commercial fishing fleet. You must call and report your arrival immediately. All passengers and crew are required to stay on your vessel until cleared by CBP. The Master may get off the vessel to use the phone to report the arrival, then must return to the vessel. If it is after hours or there is no answer please call 503-326-3230 and ask to speak to the Duty Supervisor. For your convenience, it is best to call and make arrangements prior to your arrival.
