U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), which manages the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), began a website redesign effort in late May 2014. The objective is to evaluate the current online application's user interface and develop and implement recommendations to improve the overall user experience. The goal is to streamline the process for travelers, minimizing the cost and overall time for requesting a U.S. travel authorization.
To collect a representative sample of end-users in key ESTA countries, our team is traveling to eight countries (see registration links below) in August, September and October to host 16 focus groups. The focus groups will seek to capture information regarding current and future travelers’ needs, and preferences, as well as overall feedback.
We are currently recruiting focus group participants now—and your insights and feedback will directly impact the ESTA redesign recommendations to improve the process when booking your next trip to the U.S.
Note: Eligible participants must be citizens of each of the corresponding country's focus groups, and must be available to attend the session in person.
