Final Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Construction, Operation, and Maintenance of a New Hangar and Administrative Support Facility in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico

CBP announces the availability of a Final Environmental Assessment (EA) and associated Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI).  The EA documents a review of the potential environmental and socioeconomic effects associated with the construction and operation of a new hangar and administration building for the Caribbean Air and Marine Branch at the Rafael Hernández International Airport, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.  The project will include fifteen (15) parking spaces, an extension of existing infrastructure, and associated site and access modifications.  Based on the Final EA, it has been determined that the proposed action will not significantly affect the human and natural environments.  Therefore, CBP completed a FONSI and does not need to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement.   For further information please contact Mr. Dennis Lew via email at dennis.lew@cbp.dhs.gov or by mail using the following address:
